Anyone going to have eggs hatch in novemeber?

Here's my 2 that hatched yesterday from my broody. Blue/Buff Orp and Blue Orp/BR(Can't tell yet if barred or not. Looks like maybe. I hope so. I want a cockerel to make this my project breed, Blue Barred Rocks)

I love the idea of blue barred rocks!!! Hope you get that cockrel

It will have to wait til next broody. This one is a pullet. But once I totally understand the genetics stuff, I will be getting a Blue Rock and BR from good breeders and develop the birds from that and work toward getting APA approval of the color.

Do you do muscovy duck eggs? mine are about to pip and i need help with the membrane thingy, its my first having duckling eggs so yeah, i really need help, i keep the eggs under a broody hen. i want to know about the membrane thingy, if they hatch and its stuck to the duck should i get a wet (cold or warm?) towel and put the towel on the membrane or what? im sorry i just ive never done this before and i dont want my ducks to die

BunnyStyles ... I put a cup with a sponge and warm water in my incy to keep humidity high during hatch. I also use a hygrometer to help me keep track of the humidity and the temp. A warm wet washcloth or something comparable wrapped around a struggling chick still in its shell will also keep the baby moist and makes hatching easier... be aware that if you HELP by picking away shell before the blood vessels and yolk sack are ready...you can hurt it and have a dead baby! There is a thread on BYC on how and when to help it out and I would highly recommend reading it.
Here are some of my Ladies & Gentlemen:

I set 40 eggs in the incubator on Nov 15...due on Dec 5/6. They are a mixture of several varieties. One is from my bantam, 4 Cuckoo Marans, a couple of Welsummers, Barred Rock/Marans mixes and EE mixes. This is the first time for me to try hatching when the weather is cool/cold. Wish me luck!

THANK YOU! :D and good luck :D :)

Well I have had my eggs in my bator for 17 days now. My first attempt at hatching. I purchased 30 eggs and got 30 no extras. I have already removed about half of them, quitters or just never got started. Disappointed at this point, hoping I'll get some to hatch. Not been a good first time hatching experience. It's hard to justify spending that kind of money to get nothing. Well I'll just chalk it up as experience.

Hope it's ok to join the thread so late.
I considered starting one for my hatch, but didn't think anybody really wants to read my short story..... Plus I've been super anxious this time around and didn't want to jinx my hatch by posting about it early on haha.

Just put my incubator into delayed lockdown this morning, with 9 Barnevelder and 9 Australorp eggs in there.
I started out with many more, but not all were fertile and as a few dozen were posted, a lot were scrambled and a few died in the first week.
I also pulled out a fair few blood rings and stinkers during the process. So I'm quite happy with my 18 left over and am very hopeful that a good amount of each breed make it through hatching.
Heard some cheeping this morning and saw some rocking as well. Fingers crossed.
Staring at the incubator isn't making them hatch any faster and I have put a big red sticker on the incubator to remind myself to keep my hands off. SO EXCITED AND ANXIOUS RIGHT NOW!!

We lost all of our chooks last year. Every single one :(
So this hatch is us starting back at the beginning of building up our breeding lines all over again.
I think I'll cry if it's not a good outcome.
