Anyone going to have eggs hatch in novemeber?

"I could see what looked like pulsing from a small dark speck in the middle of the veins around then. A few days later the speck was bigger and jumping all over."

SWEET!!!! That's exactly what I saw!!! I'm so excited!!!

I looked at an ad for EE eggs and almost ordered some, but I am forcing myself to wait to see how this hatch goes... Mind you, my broody hens are doing all the work for me...

I want to expand my flock from 12 to 24, so whatever are not hens in this hatch, I want to add EE and maybe a leghorn. I get all brown eggs now. Different shades, but still brown, and I would love to get some green or blue, and maybe even white...

Yup... I'm addicted...

Yay!

I love all the colors of your eggs. :) I'm thinking of seeing about getting some more eggs at the end of this month. Considering it but haven't asked about getting more yet. I love the idea of an x-mas hatch though. or somewhere around x-mas.

My eggs should be due the 29th of November. I barely make the November hatch lol. I also plan to have some due on Dec 25th or Jan 1st. Haven't decided which yet. Below are the ones I decided to put in the incubator. The darkest are MaransXEE so hopefully I'll get some Olive Egger hens out of the mix. The dozen on the lower right are actually blue. Its a shame they look nearly white in this picture.

I candled my eggs. All except 5 of them are doing great. my blue eggs i cannot see anything in, and one of the blues has the ring of death in it :(
I'm going to take the one with the ring of death out in the next few days. It makes me sad.

Ok so I went to check the temp and humdity in my bator. I had an external pip. I over looked one I popped in there on the 22nd of Oct. I double checked and I have eggs hatching around the 17th-18th and the 21st and the 25th. I think that's it.......for Nov.

Hi everyone! I'm new to all of this chicken stuff. LOL! I have 5 kids and we want to start becoming self-sustainable so I decided chickens would be a fantastic plus for us! My new coop is coming in about 3 weeks and I have new lovely eggs currently on their 1st day of being turned today! I am nervous and super excited because this is a world that I've only imagined doing, never thought it would become a reality!! :)

Here are my babies!

That's sad to hear. Are the blue ones EE's or ameraucanas? I like seeing all the success stories of those hatching before me, gets me excited for the little chicks.
Do you by chance play xbox? I ask because during our last hatch we had a few quitters. It was during this same time our xbox got the "red ring of death". So when the kids were helping me candle I explained the ring we seen on the inside of the eggs meant the babies had died at some point. We cracked them open and they were fascinated by the red ring of death they saw lining the inside of the shell, lol. I'm glad our family isn't the only ones to use that type of terminology. My coworkers would probably think I'm crazy!
