Anyone Going to Idabel, OK Poultry Show?

As long as the judges do not judge the the same birds three can cover the open show. Jacob will judge the juniors.

We are already getting entries in and if you need a catalog we can still mail catalogs out as the deadline is still a couple of weeks away.

Pray for good weather and safe travel for all.

Look forward to seeing you at the show!

Blessings to you all,

Bo Garrett

What to do, what to do...should I go ahead and show or sit back and let the eggs flow from breeding pens...hmmm.

On a side note, my BEST blue cockerel ripped off a point on his comb. UGH. Just freakin' figures.

Grace and I will be there.

Bo is a great guy and their show is always good....even if it is cold.
You will have a great time, meet some really fine folks and maybe even pick up some super birds.

I'm getting ready. My son is taking his first bird. I hope he enjoys it. I would like to get him a pullet to show. He really likes the girls better.

No worries about the cold, the barn is new and heated this year. Just a bit concerned about the weather pattern we are in lately. The show in Durant, OK was cancelled this past weekend due to snow and more expected this week.
I have to start setting up early since I cannot take vacation due to an unexpected audit at work. I will work long hours during the day and then go to the fairgrounds in the evening to set up the show. If I am a walking zombie on the 19th it is because I've not had any sleep for two weeks. Our club is down to only 3 members at this time so the workers are few. If anyone is interested in joining as a working member we would be glad to have you. Shows are a lot of work and this is the main reason most shows go by the wayside. We will continue to keep our show going and hope for more members to help out.
Look forward to seeing you in two weeks.

Blessings to all,

Bo

It is with the sincerest of apologies that I must cancel the Southeast Oklahoma Poultry Club show scheduled for February 18-19, 2011. We have had some unforeseen problems arise that are beyond our control at this point. We are working to resolve the issues but there will not be enough time to do this and get the show set up. We will send the entries back to all exhibitors with the entry fees this week. We plan on re-scheduling for the fall.

Sorry,

Bo
