anyone got weird names for there chickens??//

Actually, (and I can not believe I even bothered to look it up as it now scares me.) Honey Boo Boo was a Toddlers and Tiaras star. I found the whole kid and chicken thing Here . Just click on here.
 
We don't have chickens (yet?), but we are considering. One of the things we've said is that because of where we live we cannot have roosters. We do, however, want to raise them from eggs.

Since, of course, you don't know when getting the eggs whether you have roosters or hens, that means that some of the chickens we get will almost certainly be roosters. Roosters are, as I saw somebody else describe them, destined to be "volunteers for freezer camp" when they start crowing.

Our family has a strict policy set down from my dad when I was a kid - you don't name food. This was rather upsetting to my daughter, as she wants to bond with the chickens, and she says she can't bond with them as pets if they don't have names (which is, of course, the reason for the rule.

My daughter came up with a solution, though. She said, "that's okay. We'll name them initially, and then we'll change their names later once we've weeded out the roosters. Our initial names?

Nugget
Fry-baby
Rotisserie
Sandwich
Gravy

All of my chickens names are:
Bo and aero- seramas
Tootsie and Renji- Japanese bantams
The snowball gals- 4 white silkies
Ruby- partridge silkie
Mimosa, pea hen, Rudy, and p2- barred rock hens
Poppins and mr. Fro hawk- black crested black polish bantams
The sunshine gals- 3 brown leghorn hens
Filoo- the brown/ pearl guinea
Heraldic- brown leghorn roo

Lol I have the weirdest chicken names! You should hear my ducks names :lol:
