Hi there, I used to have a paper that talked about growing your own feeds for your chickens for winter, but I've managed to lose it. I thought about googleing it, then I decided to first check here with you guys and see what your opinion is on which grains and what the birds need the most for winter health. I already have barley seed, and wheat seed, I remember something about millet and sunflower seeds, but that's it. I know I sounds like a newbie with chickens, but really I'm just rusty, it's been about ten years since my last flock. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
