how are you all getting such good pics? i have a red light in the brooder and it tints all the pics. i guess ill have to put them in something else for a few minutes. one of the pics looked like it was outside. i thought the babies had to be a little older. i guess if it is warm out it's ok?

I have a blue on the right in the group photo that is much darker.... i dunno either... does anyone have a pic of a splash chickie? New or old?

Splash is usually like creme color. This is one that I got from an egg auction and hatch out last week.

Well there on a roll now, I got back from my son's riding lesson another chick had hatched in addition to the 2 that had hatched early ,one 2 days ago one last night. I just looked and have 3 starting to pip?

Why done with chickens?

It was just me to take care of them. Hubby and kids wanted no part. So I made so changes and I am up to around 100 chickens and counting.
