Anyone hatching around July 7th and 12th?

akpeeps - those are nice looking chicks - very alert! Congratulations!

I have nine Ameracaunas and two Marans that are supposed to hatch tonight and tomorrow. So far, one Amer is out and I see a Maran that has pipped. This time, I am not helping anybody! I am hoping for a better percentage.

Oh and of course pics...

I'm new to the forum and to hatching keets! I have 12 eggs in the incubator and today is hatching day! I'm so excited - so far 3 are trying to get out. One started this morning and I can see feathers through the small crack bt I have not seen much more than that from this one. Am I suppose to help them out? I need some advice. Thanks

Thanks for the advice. My gut was telling me not to help so I'll wait to see what happens with that one. One keet has hatched, one has a piece of shell missing and not doing anything, one is just cracked and the other 9 show no signs of anything yet. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

madbury I suggest you do read the helping post. It may become pertinent- I've never had keets that didn't come out of their shells like firecrackers alight. Slow keets isn't a good sign.
