Anyone hatching Dec 14th? Looking for hatching buddies for 1st hatch!

Hi all, jumping in here! Mrs. C is set to hatch her chicks on Sunday. We had candled on day 13 and only saw 3 that looked viable, but then a few days later I noticed 5 eggs outside her body, cold to the touch. One of them was an egg we deemed viable :–( However, I pushed them back under her and am hoping for the best on Sunday. Seriously, I will be very happy if just one hatches out of the twelve we put under her. I realize now, a little too late, that twelve was probably more than she could handle. Who knew? I am totally new at this and clueless! Anyway, I really hope she is successful. She deserves this so much, she's been so diligent in her care of the eggs. AWWWW! It's so cute and sweet really. Her little legs splayed out under her trying so hard to keep all eggs warm. Please, please, please God help her have just one little chick to care for. She's been a real trooper through this and we love her so much! Just give her a baby to care for and help end her broodiness! (At least for now)!

I set these eggs on Sunday 11/22/09 at 11pm. By my calculations, I am not even to day 19 yet and almost half have pipped. Hopefully my thermos were correct and I didn't have the temp too high. It was my first time with this LG bator. I have been using a homemade incubator but it wasn't big enough for all the eggs I wanted to hatch. Day 18 seems a little early for pips but I guess it's better than sitting and worrying until Sun or Mon. I guess this is why you should move em to lockdown at day 18 lol.

I'm worried because I have no pips yet! I'm on day 19, but before I used still air and my hatches were always a day early. This time it's circulated air. Keeping fingers crossed!

Okay, saw an egg move!!! yeah!

I have 3 more zipping too so things should start happening pretty quickly now. I am working on the video but I have to remove the sound because I'm SURE you don't want to hear my kids squealing when it hatched.

I went to snap a quick photo while I was working on uploading the video (SLOOOW INTERNET HERE) and I found one of the EEers hatched as well. Here are some photos til I can get the video going.

First chick to hatch (a mille fleur d'uccle)

First EEer that hatched (second overall)
This one had the only completely blue shell so I was really hoping it would hatch!
