Anyone hatching Dec 14th? Looking for hatching buddies for 1st hatch!

I woke up this morning and we have 4 chicks total so far. 2 EEers and 2 mille fleurs. One of the EEers has a naked neck so I'm guessing it has some turken in it. It should be a fairly unique looking bird.

We have 10 additional pips so we should have more chicks throughout the day

Here are the pictures of BLUE our bantam hen (est 7 to 9 months old) and her pal MORT the bantam rooster (est 6 to 8 months old). Previous to us getting her, she was around a Welsummer rooster(we got her Nov 4th, added Mort Nov 9th) she went broody Nov 26th. If anyone can tell us which breed they are, that would be great!

I wasn't expecting chicks until Sunday, but we had our first one hatch last night and another this morning. Three more are moving and making noise, so we're expecting them soon. We have 9 eggs total set to hatch. This was a test batch with our 4 egg layers and 2 roosters. So far we've had 100% fertility. I'm so excited!

ETA: This is our first batch with this incubator too.

No little Anna's for me. I checked the eggs I had one that looked like it made it about a week. Another that was probably 12 days. The other was infertile. I tried to be so good with temperature and humidity, but to no avail. Good luck on everyone elses hatches. I'll try again in the spring. This isn't really an ideal time where I live to be hatching anyway. If Anna hadn't had died I wouldn't have started up the bator at this time anyway. Everything in life happens for a reason. I have to believe that.

I did not have any fuzzy butts when I woke up this morning. But, my son had to march in the Christmas parade for Boy Scouts in town and when we got home from that look what we found.

Sorry you lost Anna and none of the chicks made it.

We kind of know how you feel because our favorite rooster died suddenly and we were able to gather some still fertilized eggs from the hens. Luckily, we hatched 3 of his offspring.

What do you know......I go to sleep for two and half hours and I get up to feed the cats and I found one pip! Those little ones are sneaky! The 21st day is tomorrow so hopefully they will all have pipped by then. It's quiet in the incubator.......what are they planning now??
