Anyone hatching Dec 14th? Looking for hatching buddies for 1st hatch!

Buffy, Froghorn, (I know, I know, REAL original), Holly Day, Elf, Rudolph, OH....the reindeer!!!! Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen. That's 8!!

My farmer friend hates the town councial as well as others who have been here for years. they are farmers and their being forced out by being charged commercial taxes. His mom sold her house because she couldn't take care of it. the "town" said she couldn't sell as residental because it was comercial prop and even tried to tax the sale as such. Its a mess. I am going to be a chicken out law we are currently looking to move.

Candeled today and I'm down to 4 eggs out of 12. I only have Silkie roos and apparently they are having no "relations" with the Cochin bantam hens that they share a pen with. At least there are 4 Silkie eggs developing. The crazy thing is I decided to use 3 silkie eggs from the refrigerator. I've never set refrigerated eggs before, but thought, what could it hurt, and 2 out of the 3 are developing. Yeah!
The only reason I am incubating again is for this little guy. He was the only one that hatched out of 4 eggs and so now he needs a buddy. (my fault, there were temp spikes so I will be incubating in another room this time around)

I'm hoping to hatch around Dec. 16th. I just posted on another link for a buddy search regarding a Christmas hatch but since I'm closer, date wise, to this one, I'll join this one too! I usually do summer hatches but got the urge after losing some of my girls recently so I paired up my BR Roo & Prl Wht leghorn and now have 13 eggs in the bator starting Nov. 27th.

ooh pick me pick me! I am SOOO looking for more land. I want to build, but construction loans up here are few and far between from our local banks. Maybe someday. Looking forward to that someday! Go for it and have peep-peeps all over the place!

Ok so I couldn't stand it, I candled three. Candled 2 white rock eggs, one looked beautiful!!! the other was rotten! I could smell it, it was gross. Then I candled 1 of the bantam cornish, also looked beautiful. I could see the little embryos moving around, too cool.
