It must be in their genes! They are one crazy breed. They are loud and mean. I had to make a hospital ward for them as peeps because they tore each other up so bad. My family refers to them as the hopsital kids.

I'm thinking of doing it with ducks also! I don't really see anything with ducks past day 4 then goes straight to day 28.
So for my curiosity I just might once I get a drake with my girls

I know what you mean, it's so much fun watching them develop and then hatch!!!

Knowing you did that is one of the greatest feelings!!!

im glad it helps and some one really apprecates it..
i have got many differant sides. that it was mean and cruel not to let them hatch and live. but for educational purposes i thought it was amazing im really excited to do it for so many differant birds ducks and maybe quail

So I snuck 2 of the eggs I had in the bator under my silkie broody today, she looks so happy!!! It would be really cool if both hatch from bator and hen!!

I'm really excited now, first time I had one go broody!
