I had limited access to here but as of today I have no access. At this point I still have access to my email so please do not pm me email me. And please include your byc addi so I know who you are.

I will post pics this weekend of my chicks that hatched on NYE and NYD with 3 SG's in the bunch. And my paints are getting more and more spots each day. They are so cute. All from eggs I had shipped. thanks to other byc members.

I had to shovel all the bedding out of my coop this evening after work. The girls turned their water over and made a ice rink yesterday!! It was a MESS! They really were unhappy with me being in there after bedtime!!

the first chick is walking around and hitting his beak against the other eggs,and cause the eggs to roll around. is this ok for the other eggs?

Alright, stupid question from a newbie.
How do you know if a hen will be broody, ?
I dont know what to look for?
I do have a white leghorn who almost everyday is in the nesting box with all of the mornings eggs. There is no rooster in that pen.
Then i have drake and hen ducks and she digs a nest lays eggs but doesnt sit on them....
Im still learning..... Just curious
