21 day has passed no chickies yet !!

My Quails are to start hatching tomorrow and I was going to post a pic of my cute little bantam ameraucanas that hatched yesterday but a sweet lady came from Louisiana yesterday and bought what silkies I had left and the ameraucanas straight out of the incubator

I just crossed into day 22 and nothing.... Nothing at all. These are my first eggs ever and I'm starting to get very depressed.... I hope they are just late but I see nothing, I hear nothing. The temp in my hatcher dropped when I put my eggs in and I'm having a hard time getting it above 98 .... Although the thermometer it came with says 101

Its a brinsea Eco 20 that I borrowed as I'm doing a staggered hatch so I don't know much about it. Last night I was playing chick chirping to my eggs in hope of encouraging them out and I thought I heard a chirp back but now nothing. Must of been my ears playing tricks on me. How long do I let them go?

I just put in 15 BLRW mid to late afternoon on the 28th that puts me right around 2/18 for hatch .... will be hatch number 4 this winter ( though the first 2 weren't so good )

Don't give up on them yet, if you have had temp drops during incubation they can hatch late, I've had them hatch on day 23 before, but I think that's the latest I have had.

Woke up this morning to my FIRST chick hatched EVER!!!

Now 2 more left that I believe should hatch as well. Today is only day 20 so not sure how long to wait before taking the first one out to put in brooder to wait on the others. I am so excited, i didnt want to go to work this morning lol

This after noon will count 23 days, still no signs of chickies, we tried peeping at them and couldnt hear them. should I try to float them ? I think I will leave them alone and see what happens. I hope they will hatch when I come home from work !!

has a touch of what appears to be grey on chest, real dark legs and feet, an EE. I am thinking this little one came from the black/lavendaur mixed

adorable!!! Congrats on your first chick!!

I leave them in to dry and then pull them out and put them in the brooder, that's just my opinion. If you have other eggs that have pipped though don't open it or you could shrink wrap them.
