Hi Everyone!
I've been so busy today! Had errands to run and trying to get brooders done.
I haven't had time to hover over the bator much/ Good thing for my back i guess. LOL
I will read and try to catch soon!!!

7 quail are here now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They've been quick and sneaky. we'd look in , see a pip, a hole, few minutes later my son goes in, and 3 had hatched.

Our Scratch and Dent baby is hatched now too! I'm so happy he made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had dropped another egg on him and dented his shell about a week ago. Patched it up with liq. band aid, and he made it!!!
Bummer is I didn't get to see him hatch and I was going to leg band him and name him Dent. Oh well , he's here that s all that matters!

One egg to go and it has a good size hole in it now!

then another day, and I get to stress over chicken eggs.

I have a Serama Chick pipped now!

I've waited a long time to get the Serama's. !
Praying for one sweet Roo we can have as a house pet, and the rest in the yard! (4 eggs total)

And it looks like 2 of our quail chicks are not the Jumbo Brown color, lots of yellow on them. lol!

It's here!

My first little Serama hatched during the night! It looks black. I haven't seen it's face yet. It's sleeping with it's back to me.

All the quail are good and fluffed and will come out soon too!
