I think one of my girls is trying to go broody. She's been in the box a awful lot this week. She JUST started laying, so I'm Crossing my fingers that she is, I left her a couple eggs yesterday to see if she would make her mind up.

I put the light on the baby side of the brooder and temp is up to 84. So were good to go.
I will figure out a way to add the heating pad to the older chicks side. They are curious about the changes being made to their new brooder and grumping at me right now.. LOL!
One is a 3 week ole EE and the other a 4 week Sex link .. little cuties!

I received another dozen SG's today. I was hoping to put them in the bator next week with the silkies that are coming for the soon to be empty bator. I don't want then to sit around that long so I will be putting them in tonight with the others. I hope my DH doesn't decide to go count the eggs!
