Maybe they want to be holiday babies! Good hatching vibes coming your way!! If you don't have pips and you are worried, I would candle 1 and see if any have internally pipped.

What does that look like?

You'll see a shadow of it's little beak poking into the air cell.

Once you see it you'll know it.

Thanks guys...
Plan B... Steal a light from the older chicks...lol...
I have a toothache, and I really don't feel up to going out today...

I have a light on the 2 older chicks that are 3 and 4 weeks old. They are feathering out nice.
They would all be sharing the same brooder, but divided by wire, so some of the heat would still generate to the older... and I could cover it good with blankets.. would that do for a day or so?

You could swap them out, give the heating pad to the older chicks since they're more feathered out and then put the heat lamp on the babies, I would think that would work!

Edited for typo's, I can't wake up today!

Where the aircell is you will be able to see a beak poking through the cell, and movement in the cell.

I candled an egg and saw an internal pip. You can see the pointy beak moving around in the air cell

A temperature drop like that shouldn't effect them. I usually hatch my chicks with ducks and I lower the temperature to 98.5 and they do well. I have an LG and a brinsea octagon. The Octagon is much better! The down side is it doesn't hold as many eggs.
