everyones babies are giving me chick envy! They are gorgeous!

Misslady! Back away from the bator! Don't make eye contact with it! It will put you in the awful batortrance! Speaking of which I watched my 4 dozen this morning for a few minutes. Yep, I have batortrance bad!!

I candled the 13 CJs. I have 12 that look good. I left 1 in but I'm positive its a red ring.

woke up this morning and temp had dropped to 97.9 so that really makes me nervous, got it back up asap tho. has this happened to anyone else right before they were suppose to hatch?!? I'm worried to death,

hubs keeps telling me it will be fine and to stop worrying, but I can't!!!

I know it's my bator, I am waiting on my Christmas bonus to buy a new one, just can't afford it now, but the LG hatched 6 chicks last time so hoping this one will turn out ok!

That's what I have and I don't recomend it, almost immpossilble to keep temp steady! I'm shopping around myself for a new one.

I'm going to have to wait till after Christmas to get another bator too. I"m a stay home mom with a 14 yr old and 3 nieces that are spoiled! LOL!

I'm thinking about asking Santa's helper, mom, for a gift card this year. For my Birthday too. I'm a Dec. baby. I wont tell an amount, just leave it up to her. She always spends more than the $$ of a bator on me, but I don't like to ask for expensive things.
We do this from time to time. And In the past, i've taken the item to her that she helped buy, insist she wrap it, and I act surprised!

... It was a gift from her , so why should she get off easy because she didn't go pick it up. LOL!

In my shopping for the one I have now, (Havobator genisis 1588) I came across a lot of negative about the LG. I could have gotten one local, but chose the havo instead and had it shipped.

I love the havobator. Very fuss free! And well spoken of at BYC.

There are many brands that are good, a lot depends on how much you want to spend.

I'm trying to resist, but I'm afraid I too have fallen victim to the batortrance. It keeps calling out to me and I keep on going back.

My Splash Marans go into lockdown on Sunday, so I'm sure my condition is likely to deteriorate over the weekend, lol.
