I finally have my Koopola coon proof and my larger chicks had their first night in it last night

Now to finish the run roof and my peeper palace is off to a good start

8 out of my Cjs I have a second batch of Cjs going that only 6 look good. My catdance was for 18 and she sent 24 and 16 were very much alive and kicking on day 18. 4 have pipped since yesterday afternoon and I set them on a wednesday morning so today is the official hatch day

I won an auction from Hot2Pot - Deb in GA for some polish top hats and I over paid

so she is sending a surprise assortment that comes tomorrow

I'm hoping for a few buckeyes

It would be nice to have a heritage breed

Do you have polish now? I just bid on her new auction of them. I want to add to my current girls. They are such comedians! Everyone that visits that has never been around chickens loves them the best. I can carry mine around all day and they love it! A neighbor stopped by the other day and I had one in the house trimming her beak, they already think I'm the crazy chicken lady, well now they are convinced!

I have 3 pullets - one buff one gold laced and one black with a white top hat . They are smile machines

Miss Clara is totally DEVINE

so are Stella and Celeste

My neighbors down the street stopped by and asked us to adopt their lone goose and fell in love with them when they saw them. That is why I am hatching more. She had a coon raid her chicken coop so she needs some more to replace the loss and would love some of the top hats

I'm up to 6 pips and one almost through on the catdance

I have 4, black with the white tops. I have a marie, and a phyllis dillard. 2 aren't named. I really want some other colors!!
