Well, update on my Splash Marans eggs, I'm currently at 5 out of 9 that have hatched, and one that is zipping right now. It's day 23! These little chicks sure do know how to make a lady wait, but better late than never!

I've had 1 that hatched on day 21 (and my mutt egg,) two that hatched on day 22 and two that have hatched on day 23. Has anyone else experienced this? After the one that is zipping hatches I think I'll do a candling on the remaining eggs to see how they're doing.

Bikerchic...I thought they were silver partridge...so pretty...

I love how melissa has light colors and bikerchic had blues/greys...oh so pretty...I hope my hatch is as good as you guys...thanks for sharing...oh and if you want to post more pics of them all I think we can handle it!

I'll post some pictures later on after they all fluff up! A few of them are still in that drowned rats phase.

The last one that hatched looks like it might be super-splashy and I am so excited to see what it looks like when it dries!

I am going away today and won't be abck till sunday week!!! Just back in time for the hatch...so i am not candeling mine till lockdown....

A friend will be checking on my bator every 2 days... This time I am NOT playing with my bator and I think it is a good thing i won't be there...
