On my 2nd hatch due Nov 4. Started with six eggs and now down to two. All the other eggs were not fertile so i'm not that sad. Had my first rotten egg and took it out as soon as i found out. it was DISCUSTING. Anyways im super excited for these chicks to hatch and I hope they are sussesful...

I have a hen thats sitting on ten eggs! Hatch day is Nov 13! This is all new to me and I'm sure I will have lots of questions.

Okay maybe I did just once, the shell was fairly dark and I couldn't tell what I was looking at since I was only on day 3. Oh, it is so hard to wait!

it looks like i have 2 more quiters

but none are getting tossed unless they start to stink. have read that some who thought they had blood rings and quiters actually hatched. if they are quiters that leaves me with 10 d'uccle eggs and my 3 marans
