I went through and pulled a few more Questionable eggs last night.
I'm not left with much!

6 Serama I have hopes for and 3 Silkies.
Out of 46 shipped eggs. I know shipped has it's down falls. But was hoping for a little better results. Most never started to develop.

Now, I read talk about having a favorite egg. I have one too!

My question is , how do I keep track of the chick when it hatches, I already have a name or 2 picked out for it!

It kicks like crazy when we candle and we just love the little guy! So I'm thinking Thumper or Scrappy for a name. Has anyone ever seperated out an egg and put it in some sort of container in the bator for hatch? I figured once it fluffed, a leg band , food color or toe nail polish.

to keep it so I can pick it out of the crowd.

I purchased these little rubber colored leg bands off of ebay. They came in 6 different colors and are soft rubber. They can stay on till they are 8 weeks I believe.

I have cabbaged on to one of our security cameras and have it pointed at the incubator and I can stream it to my office so I can watch the temp and fun

I"ve been super busy the past few days, and boy there's lots to catch up on! LOL! Busy thread!

I've enjoyed all the baby pics, and the video!

bikerchic Your Hershey and her little ones are just beautiful! And I hope your new bator gets in today like your hoping for and things go smooth with DH. (saw it in another thread)

Melissa Rose I've been working on an old Aviary , and landscaping it, so I can relate to your being sore. I am too!
I forgot how tough the wire can be to work with!
I hope your project is about done.

Mine is near being usable, but far from done. I will get the rest after Christmas.

the rest and not sure how to back track) Good to see more from Arizona. I know your on the AZ thread too.
We warmed up nice yesterday... Today is a diff. story, although not too bad out.
