WOW, I went kinda out of town hunting, not even for 24 hours and I have so much to catch up on here!!! Will be lots of post coming from me I'm sure,

yes i agree it is time to help him, we saved 2 from our last hatch that i dont think would have made it if we hadn't helped them out, we started seeing blood on one, so stopped and waited and then when there was no more blood, we finished helping and she is happy and healthy and alive now!!

Just got back home from hunting and eggs still at perfect temp, 99.5!!!

I always worry when i am going to be gone over night becaouse our house is so drafty, but i have the bator in a closed closet, i think im just paraniod,

So happy to hear about all the pips going on!!! Cant wait to see pics of all the fuzzy butts!! I'm still hoping some of mine will hatch,

I will candle 1 last time tomorrow when i go in lock down, wish me luck!!!!

My last and FIRST hatch, I candled all the way up to lockdown. I candled the day of lockdown (early) and that was it. I probably won't do that with this hatch, only if I see something iffy, then I might candle the day of.

i know how u feel. im still stuck 1 1/2 hours away from home and have eggs in lockdown. already missed one hatch. dont want to miss this one. havent even got to candle them. grrr i wanna go home. i need to invest in a car lol hopfully my job starts paying me soon.

It may be my fault your thinking tomorrow.

We have the same set date, but I goofed on when I put quail in and my seramas my hatch on day 19. (That's the average hatch time the Lady I got them from has) So I'll lock down tomorrow night.. I've had quail in the past hatch on day 16! Their time is 16-18 days. So ...you never know with these eggs!

First one is out!! Its a white leghorn who got shrink wrapped after pipping and needed help. The Marans is looking good too, peeping and chirping like crazy trying to get out!
