Spoke too soon! It hatched! All my 5 babies are out of their shells and are getting dry in the incubator.

All of them are really dark, not sure exactly what colors yet, but can't wait to start guessing once they're dry!

I'm in love with those little black feet and beaks!

so i am already parked in front of my incubator,

went in lock down last night, everything was fine now the last couple of hours the temp has been so spastic, dropped to 96, then got stable, then spiked to 102, this has never happened and im sooooo freaking out!!!

i dont know what to do to get them stable but sit here and watch them, dang LG's

Oh, sorry to hear about his toes. How long have they been that way. I've heard sometimes they straighten out on their own.

i just chicked my eggs and one of the marans has piped

but they arent the ones that are most important to me as they did come from our hens outside. my d'uccles, the shipped ones, are the ones i am waiting impatantly

for i hope all 9 hatch but i'm not gonna count my chicks till they all hatch out.
