Do your air cells dip go around normally and then dip WAY down in one spot? I have a few shipped eggs that seem to be doing that. Wonky air cells always make me nervous, but a lot of them seem to do fine.

I had 4 eggs that made it to lockdown.

All of them died in the egg... What did I do wrong?! None of them were shrinkwrapped. I cannot for the life of me think what I did wrong!

Temps were stable and this was a dry incubation. Once the first pipped I added water and the humidity never got below 50%. As I said none looked shrinkwrapped... Help!

Hopefully you get lots of cute little chicks to cuddle soon to take the sting away. So sorry for your loss.

We have our first ever hatch. Dec 1st being our hatch day, doing 12 Black Copper Marans. They were shipped to us hope to have at least 1

Well as I said they don't look as if they shrink wrapped at all... Temps were as stable as I could get 'em between 101 (this is a still air) and 12.5 was the highest I saw. Humidity was varying somewhat between 50 and about 65%. I am so bummed.... Only 1 pipped the other 3 never did.

My Frizzle Cochin Bantam is due to hatch today!!! only one out of 12 to make it to lockdown! I dont know what color its goin to be. Or if it will have the frizzle feathers. But i cant wait till it hatches!!!

Loving the pics and good luck to everyone watching the bators. Mine are due the 23rd, day 11 and candled 10 silkie combo eggs, 4 clear or quit early (all white), but the rest (BBS, white, partridge) are doing great. For the life of me those marans are impossible, but do look darker than when set...so 6 FCM and BBS are doing well....they are huge and one flipped from one spot in the turner to another...so they are all now being hand turned

my frizzle cochin bantam hatched!!! i think its black or blue. cant tell yet still wet!. ill post pics once its all fluffy and dry!
