hopefully my eggs are fertile. they are mutts. the roosters are BLRW so it will be intersting hatch! This is my first chicken hatch and I'm soo excited! So far i have 2 eggs in my bator, just waiting for more! They are due to hatch DEC 26th, the day right after Christmas!

I have some Light Sussex eggs due to hatch on Dec. 14th. I really hope they hatch because I am about done hatching eggs due to my low hatch rates. If these don't hatch I will be traveling to get some started birds.

Hopefully the new incubator will stop the problem hatches! Don't give up though

!!!! Have you candled to see if they have piped internally? I have a problem down here with my humidity being too high during incubating and my chicks are too large to zip sometimes! I even try to dry incubate

Some say help and others say don't but I think if it's just a matter of the chicks being too large to zip then helping is not so bad

! I'm looking forward to a broody here in the future

I'm going to check when I get home for internal pips, so far still nothing from what my husband said,
