I am going to try out new feed today. It is cheaper than TSC's and I have read on here that the chickens like it better. I hope so!!

we are going to sell some of our laying hens next week I think. We bought our first laying hens for $20 I think, that was a long time ago, is that what they usually go for? I haven't bought any since, just eggs and chicks, so not sure if thats the right going rate or not and don't want to over or under charge?!?!

I sell young pullets for $10.00 easily that have a couple of months to go before they lay so $20.00 for a laying hen is a good price to start with. If you don't seem to be selling any you can always drop it a little

. I spend a lot of time in the emergency forum reading up on the emergencies people have so I can deal with it better if it happens to one of my chicklets
