Anyone HATCHING?!?!? Newbie's and addicts WELCOME!!!! Hatch Calendar page 1!!!!

We set 12 easter eggers on Dec 30, so am hopeful for tonight or tomorrow. however, we've been unable to candle most of these eggs because the shells are incredibly thick! No amount of candling has netted us any happy answers.
We also have 12 BCM in the incubator with incredibly thick shells, again, no candling, that we don't have alot of hope for because the shipper didn't put "live eggs" or anything like that on the box, so the post office left them sitting in a warehouse for two days while we paced anxiously. They should hatch (if they do) somewhere around the 28th.

I'll let you know what comes out tonight or tomorrow.

Brent Danny39 sells at auction but I don't think he has any up right now. Here is his email he sells outside of the auctions when they are available. His birds are AWESOME. 13 eggs made it to lockdown and I have thirteen chicklets fuzzing up now

Just got done candiling my 27 eggs and 3 were duds and 3 were ifys i don't think that's bad for my first hatch 21 eggs show good development some have veining and others i could see the chick starting to develop

Ok my 15 Wyandottes have been in the bator, today is day 23. They are moving around, but thats it. The eggs are rockin and rollin but no breaks yet. Should I be concerned?

If you have had some temprature drops then your eggs can be delayed. Be patient. . . if they are rocking and rolling they will come out with in a day or two

A lot of the time I see wiggling a day or two before they actually pip so if the are wiggling today you might not see a pip till tomorrow or the next day

. They usually hatch on day 21 but if your temp was a little low they can take a couple more days

. Peeping at them does help

Sometimes you will hear them peep back
