I tried hatching paint silkie eggs but none hatched. I'm having a trio shipped to me and I can't wait to get them

same here but i live in canada so it is much harder i dont beliave any one in canada has them im sure someone could get them the only thing is alot of ppl here dont know they exist

I am disgusted. I am on day 25. I think the heating element is bad in my incubator. I have been having temperature changes thru the whole process. I had it consistent at 99.5 all night and most of the day. I left the house for 6 hours and came home to a temp of 105. They were still moving some this morning, but haven't seen any movement since I've been home. What are my chances of having any live?

If they are still moving and you are on day 25 have you checked for internal pips?

So I sold 1 of my welsummers, my black sexlink, and my little silkie bantan cochin mixed chick yesterday to make room for my young welsummers that are 3 months old now. I couldn't believe how fast they went once I posted them on craigslist!!!

Still nothing from my marans! I checked last night and could see 2 possibly internally pipped?? I have showgirls going into lockdown today. I guess I will just add them tonight and hope for the best with the marans. If nothing happens in a few days its investigation time . . .

On a lighter note, I get to set my lovely NEW marans and ameraucanas tonight. They are some gorgeous eggs!! Yiippeeeeeee!!

Going to pick up my new/old bator next Saturday. I can't wait!! Time to move furniture around without DH getting suspious!
