Good morning everyone

We're halfway through day 20 here and 5 of my 10 eggs pipped overnight. Somebody's peeping and I think it's the one that pipped on the underside of the egg. This is the hardest time for me, I just want to get my fingers in there and help chip away the shell. I don't do it, but I want to really bad.

21 fuzz butts

out of 26 eggs 2 were non starters so out of 24. 1 gave up at some point just before hatch, 1 has done nothing yet the last one is half in still covered in membrane one of the other chicks jumped on the egg where it had a big pip in and the shell just gave way so who knows

I now have 4 chicks out, 4 pipped eggs and only 2 that haven't done anything yet. 2 of my 3 blue EE eggs are pipped but none have hatched yet, or course, since those are the ones I'm most interested in seeing. I'll post pics after everyone's hatched and dry.

Anyone else have more hatchlings since their last report?

Gave up and cracked the last two eggs in the bator this afternoon...one never started and the one that was ok at day 8 never did anything after day 8. Oh well, 5 out of 7 for a first hatch ain't too shabby! Gonna start some more next week!
