I've got 7 black copper marans eggs under my broody cuckoo marans due to hatch on the 19th - I'm on pins and needles!!!

I have a hovabator forced air full with my first ever hatch. 34 are on day 7 and due to hatch march 16. I added 8 more yesterday so second batch are due the 22nd. they are silkies and silkie mixes. I bought 3 bators so will sperate on day 18. I candled and saw veins on day 5.

I have 24 set to hatch on the 17th. Tomorrow is Candling Day!

we have 14 set in the GopherBator to hatch on the 17th!!!
They are from our original flock, figured it was time to set some eggs since the first batch that hatched in Oct are starting to lay now. I am really eggsited about the fact that some of the polish eggs are in there.....it should be a crazy mix....since we only have one rooster with that flock....he's our BIG buff cochin Nikki, so who knows what him and a polish will turn out!
