Anyone Hatching on the 27th or 28th? - I Need Hatching Buddies!!

Well, day 18 has arrived for 15 of my eggs. Took out the turner this morning and placed them in egg cartons. I will still tilt/turn 28 for another day or two (or until I see a pip in anything and then lockdown) for the second group of eggs in the same incubator due on Thursday. I have raised the humidity and waiting for the wonderful hatching experience. This is my second time incubating eggs and these are special, B/B/S americauna, silver maran, cuckoo maran, blue barred rock, BLRW, and austrolorp. I am so excited and want all of them to hatch and progress so badly!! Good luck to the rest of you.

...don't you wish there was a fast forward button?

Good luck on your hatch! You are gonna have a great variety of chickies! Can't wait to see pictures from your hatch!

Well tommarow is day 18 for my bbs orps and dutch babies. I cant wait till the first pip! Gotta get the hatcher up and running so I can set them without any issues lol. I wish everyones babies the best of luck and hope everyone has great hatches.

Today is day 18 for me. When I get up in the morning I will turn on the other bator i'm using for a brooder and start hand turning the resto f the eggs. I have about 18 eggs I expect to hatch in one day then one a day for a few days along with the quail. It's going to be interesting around here for about a week. There will be a litle break before it starts all over again.

I bet I don't do this to myself again anytime soon. I have several different hatch dates in one bator. I can't rely on the other bator. Its over 20 years old I found out.

O'm going to borrow my daughters camera so I can take pictures. I have been using my cell phone. That gets expensive at .40 a picture

Good luck to all.

I just set the bator down flat (I hatch in egg cartons and turn the entire bator side to side), and added water to my "paper towel in a small bowl" to boost the humidity! 18 days and counting down!

I'm a little worried about these though because they're putting off so much heat! My bator keeps hitting 103 and I have to pull a cork to let some of that hot chicky heat out.
