Anyone Hatching on the 27th or 28th? - I Need Hatching Buddies!!

I got 3 pips today. They aren't due until tomorrow though. I have a dozen to hatch tomorrow then a couple everyday for a week along with 17 quail eggs. Then a small break and it starts again. By the middle of June I'll have turkeys hatching.

We can't seem to stay away. Little peeks here and there. Thank goodness for windows in the bator.

I just realized that along with my power outage yesterday my bator was not running. Off course I wasn't home and the power must have been of for about 3 hours! Great just great......I think the hatching gods are angry at me!!! Yesterday was day 17, Maybe just maybe something will still hatch...

I wouldn't worry too much at this point. The internal temperature of the eggs will be warm and take longer to cool off then the temp in the bator.

woohoo , my eggs ( 17) mixed breed rir white sex links and black ones too I thought were gonna hatch out the 28th but at 10:04 pm EST I heard them peeping in the shells . might be sooner that I thought . I will; keep ya'll updated and post pics as soon as they start hatching.. Nite all..

Things have settled down in the bator. Temp is right on the factory setting of 100.2 and humidity is 76.

Should I try to lower that humidity or is that in the safe zone? Gonna be a lot of excitement and cute pictures on this thread in the next few days.
