Anyone hatching on the 27th?

I am still wondering why my oral thermometer read so high in my bator.
All my other thermos have been set next to the atomic clock one and have all agreed within a degree or so but the oral one was about four degrees hotter! It's a puzzle. I am so tired of hasseling thermometers.
I didn't have a house hygrometer so am using the kind for reptiles. I think this new one for the humidors will be better. (hopefully

So happy you are still getting new pips!

Yeah, I had trouble too. I finally decided to go with the oral and forget it. But I diddnt have a digi, I only had the ones that came with it. So I dont know... I hope the new one does better for you.

20 chicks! Yay!!

shewww, finally i'm done, out of 20 - 18 chicks, one quit, one dead was upside down, now to clean and move the other 27 from the darn lg to the genesis,

I don't know what you will do, but perhaps he will be fine. There's no way to know for sure, obviously, but it is evident that he has some sort of "neurological disorder". This does not mean he won't be able to live some sort of life--even as a pet. Perhaps he or she will be the perfect companion for someone. After all I wouldn't think, if it's a pullet, she'd want to stand around like that and be prey to all the rapist roos out there.

Maybe she has some special talent. You never know. She/he may have a knack for seeing a hawk miles away and sounding out an alarm call.

Am I kidding? Nope.
