Anyone Hatching on the 4th?

ETA: I think I confused myself by thinking that 21 days is 3 weeks. It is, unless you are counting chickens! 21 days is 3 weeks minus one day, so that's where I got confused! So since I always set in the evening, I'm thinking the ones hatching now are on time, and the ones that were hatched this morning were early!

mine started pippin on the 4th but it fianlly is out of egg today on the 5th its a black one names UNO for being my very first chicken

8 of the 9 have hatched....and they are just cute as can be....i still gotta get pics on here though...

I have a chick that pipped 24 hours ago. She is still alive, but not doing anything. There is a hole the size of a dime and then she has made a crack from that hole to the bottom of the shell. Do I help? This is a BBS Orp.

Has it made any progress recently? Is the crack just a crack, or is it a zip? If it is just a crack, then I would probably help. The chick is most likely too big to turn in the shell to zip. Just make sure no other eggs are pipped, or you will end up needing to help all of them.
