they are totallly adorable!!I've used a Brinsea 20 Eco before but not the mini. I'm not sure how that one works at all. I'm using a Little Giant. I have 13 eggs due to hatch this coming up Sunday. Lockdown begins tomorrow for me. I have some Blue Laced Red Wyandotte eggs, a few from my EE, one mystery hen egg (looks like a small version of a Buff Orpington). It'll be interesting to see what hatches out this weekend! I'm hoping for a better hatch than last weekend. I only got two chicks out of 6 eggs. I guess two is better than none though!
As for your questions, you can take the chicks out of the incubator once they are completely dry and fluffed out. I usually wait until everyone has hatched to move them. Some eggs can hatch as late as day 25 so give any unhatched eggs a little more time just to be sure your not throwing out a live chick!
Once the entire hatch is finished you'll want to unplug and clean the incubator thoroughly before setting it back up to hatch again! Good luck with your babies!
Here are the two that hatched out last weekend! The one to the left is a pure BLRW. The one to the right comes from a EE hen and a BLRW rooster. It is possible its dad could be my little bantam, but from the looks of his comb, he's mixed with the BLRW.
