Anyone have a resource for Maran chicks - in the Pacific Northwest

I'm looking to get just 2-3 Marans. I would rather get them as locally as possible since my research is looking like its going to be tough getting just a couple from the eastern hatcheries.

You could try going on the yahoo group for dark egg layers. There are prople on there from all over the place.

There is a breeder in norco, ca that I got my eggs from. I met her on a couple maran forums. She also sells chicks and started birds. Email me and I will send you her email address. She has great lines in her chickens and they are show quality from what I heard from other maran members on the forum.
