Anyone have any Welsummers that are good layers?

I have 5 Welsummers, I am a selective breeder, I keep Orpingtons, Sabelpoots and Pekins also. When I started Welsummers I bought POL and a Cockerel last October. Now I am collecting 5/5 eggs a day from the hens. I think its down to the climate, I'm from Ireland and it is cold in the winter, so I kept them indoors under a warm light and they were laying in December. you have to know how to look after them before you buy them. I always get suprised when I check the nestbox each day. Just keep at the raring and see how it goes.
