I finally got my roomies to concede! They say I can order frizzle eggs as long as they fit our flock's basic profile, but now the hunt begins.
They must be:
standard sized (oh, boy did I have to fight to get my silkies!)
Good egg-layers
good foragers (my flock free-ranges all day)
relatively friendly (I will settle for non-aggressive)
Given that, I don't care what breed (or mix) or color. I only want a few- I would love to get a half dozen hatching eggs. The sooner the better, really. I have BLRWs due to ship tomorrow and I would like to put them in close to the same day.

I've seen LF cochin frizzles

Look 'em up on here, you should be able to find something!

LOL those are the ones I tried to get them to let me have!!! They outvoted me on basis of egg production. We looked up the average for those breeds and they are listed as laying half what our current flock lays.
*sigh*
I want a frizzle!

I have only seen frizzle in cochins and tophat breeds. And EE but they are hard to find I have one young EE frizzle rooster it will be next year before I have eggs form him. I am putting him in with true blue and black ameraucanas. He came form a pretty blue/green egg and has black leg and truffs and bread. He is black but has a few gold spots.

well if you DO get eggs and want to sell them, can I be first on the list?
I really want a frizzle. I didn't even know they existed till after I ordered my birds (I only ever had hand-me-down bantams the neighbors didn't want growing up) I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to chicken varieties. I am learning TONS about them now... and I want so many of them...
