WELLLL that's a crap load of egg LOL. My silkie is supposed to hatch two babies (hopefully) between now and Monday.. I think.. My birthday is in a couple days.. maybe I'll get a nice suprise

Still haven't gotten up the nerve to candle my eggs... somebody come over and help me.. lol. I'm scared of tossing a good one.. or not knowing what to look for, although that video was EXTREMELY helpfull. The eggs were put in the 'bator on the evening of the 12th... so the eggs are what? 10 days into it? I think I have 14 in one incubator and 12 in another.. just because I wanted to test both incubators..

I just added 2 more eggs to my bunch

And there not chicken or quail eggs lol

There dove eggs. two small white ones. The mother got chased away from her nest and the people ripped her nest down. i rescued the eggs before they threw them on the ground to break them. i took them home and candled them and they have veins and a embryo in them so i put them in the bator. It takes the same temp but humidity is a little differnt. ill see how it goes lol

....sooo.. remember when I said I'd been impatiently waiting my silkie hatching out her two eggs? WELLL I went out to put all the chickens away and was going to check on the silkie when I heard a familiar sound.... Unsure on the progress of the other one.. maybe tomorrow it will hatch? I took this one out so mommy chicken wouldn't abandon the unhatched egg.. (my other first time mommy did that a week and a half ago...

) Hopefully I can just give her the baby back once the other egg catches up.

Yep was definitely NOT fertile!

Update on my hatch: I had 11 of 14 hatch of my shipped EE/OE eggs. Well I started with 17 and had to toss 3 clear at the beginning. One hatched and had a weird like air bubble in its neck and wasnt full formed at its legs and was bringing bubbly yolk from its insides and drowned the poor thing Nothing I could do, though I did try. Two OE eggs are still in the bator, today is day 21 but no pips, or rocking or anything so not sure they are gonna hatch. I have a NN lol its so funny looking! Also the NN/Frizzle and the NN/EE/Frizzle hatched. They are so cute! Of my friends 15 eggs set, there have been 9 to hatch. The last three were born with there yolk sac not fully absorbed

so my incubator is yuck as are the remaining eggs! I have never had this happen before and there are still so many of these eggs not hatched so I'm trying to figure out what went wrong...

UGH!!!!! I am going bananas waiting on these babies we are on day 23 and 2of 9 hatched, 1 did not make it

but another hatched plus a pip and that was 22 hours ago... I am addicted to watching these little guys or girls this was my sons project and I have completely taken over

It sounds like ur temp was off. As for the deformed one it could have been genetic. Good luck with the rest!!
