just candled a few eggs. Saw a foot kick the side of the egg!! lol tryed to get a pic but it was to quick. this eggs due next week. its on day 10



and i think this is a twin egg. it has dark spots on each side that move. idk if its two or one chick. looks differnt than my other eggs

I just realized... I be on a retreat when the eggs are due to hatch! GAHHHH!!

That is just as bad ad me I am prego and my due date is the 24 of march and are harch day is the 12th of March. It sure is going to be crazy if I go early!

I just set 17 of my mixed flock eggs in my bator tonight. Mind if I join the hatch along? have some jb coturnix eggs coming in the mail and will add th when they get here as well as 6 BBS Orpington eggs that are being shipped on Monday...I just add as I go along..they hatch when they want and I never have a problem with staggering hatches like that. I have a LG incubator that I refuse to use the fan or turner in cause they always ruin the hatches. So I hand turn three times a day and keep a good eye on the temps and I get between 98 and 100% hatch rates this way

I agree. I feel like the less mechanics, the better off the eggs are. Maybe cause I feel like a mother hen!
