Well, I have 5 wellsummers in lockdown. Should have started to hatch yesterday. No sign of anything, no chirps, no pips, no nothing.

Don't know whats going on. I switched the eggs from one incubator to another. Starting to wonder if maybe I have a bacteria problem. I sprayed it down with clorox and rinsed it well before I put them in. Not going to give up quite yet, but really starting to worry.

Today is day 22 for the bobwhite (23-24 for them). Last night when I went to bed, three had microscopic pips. You know the kind you wonder if it's really a pip or just a flaw in the shell you hadn't noticed before. This morning one has enlarged to an actual pip.

Nothing yet on any of the chicken eggs (day 20).

I had an internal pip this morning!!!!!

Lockdown started a little early for some since I have a staggard hatch and only one incubator. But I have a broody female that I took the ones that really weren't quite ready for lockdown out to. I now have 8 in the incubator, 1 internal pip and almost all of them rocking away. (Ducks)

Nothing yet. We are having a cold snap, so the eggs are a bit chilly. But momma hen is still clinging to the nest.

I have another broody too, so I'll be using her to hatch the EE eggs for the Easter hatch. Don't forget to post up pics, all you people with hatchlings!
