Ohh incubating is fun, lol. Once u hatch once ur ganna wanna keep hatching. Do u have a seperate incubator to hacth them in?? i relized i was in trouble my first time i hatched because o put eggs in differnt days and didnt have anothor bator for them to hatch inI set 6 duck eggs and 4 orpingtons on the 12th. I will be setting 10 silkies and 10 others (can't remember the name at the moment) tomorrow or Friday. Of the 6 duck eggs I can see development in 4. I can't see anything in the orps..just too dark of a shell and this is my first time incubating.
I started incubating 14 eggs 7 at my school for our kindergartners to watch and learn and 7 at home in case anything happens to any at school. The kids love hearing the incubator turn the eggs they stop and pray for they baby chicks to be hatched. So cute. We Our waiting on our black and splash mar an eggs to hatch in 11 days!
