If this video works this is the heartbeat of a day three duck egg that was due to hatch 2-20 but wasn't positioned right and didn't make it to the hatch.

srry to hear thos eggs didnt make it. ive never hatched ducks. I hope the ones u have now make it! great videos. i cant ever record any that clear!

awww the only broody ive ever had was a black silkie and she hatched quail eggs for me. Cant wait for pics!! Good luck!!

lol maybe haha. None of my other hens ever went broody but her. she was a good hen. i had to give her away. i couldnt break her broodyness no matter what i did. My friend now uses her for hatching lol.

Mine never stops brooding from February to October! But I like her, and she's a great mommy, so I'm keeping her. I sold her two daughters though, who had the same problem.

i loved her but she got mean. she sat on a golf ball on my dogs bed lol. i went to move her and she attacked and bit me. I would have kept her if she wasnt like that, i love silkies and hope to get more soon have u candled ur eggs yet??

Soo i just did two test eggs. think one isnt ganna do well. cracked the shell in the process and picked the worng color. i cant see inside. I injected dye inside two because the owner wants them colored. i dnt like doing it. i think its wrong. but there not mine and if they want it done ill do it. one egg i did green. messed up on it. the other is red and looks good. ill know for sure later tonight if the red one will make it.

I gotta ask. How do you inject the dye? I saw a youtube video recently of multicolored turkeys at a farm that had been injected.

Oh, and I candled last night. No clear winners yet. Not sure if the shell is too dark or if they all are duds. I'm just going to wait it out longer I guess.
