ANYONE HAVE EGGS DUE!! CHARTS ON PAGE ONE POST ONE!! NEWCOMERS WELCOME!!!

Just saw this post & I would like to join.
I set 17 BBS Ameraucana eggs in a Hova-Bator that are due on the 10th. I will be candling tomorrow evening and will try to post pictures of what I see. This is my first hatching as an adult. Daddy & I hatched quail when I was much younger. Hopefully I haven't lost my touch and the postal service didn't scramble my eggs. So hard to wait to find out.

Hello everyone. My husband and I just started with incubating eggs last Saturday 2/18/12. This is are first round. We are doing good right now. We are keeping them at a good temp and humanity. He told me that we are going to candle them this Saturday. Should we do it sooner or does is not really matter? We are thinking that are hatch day is going to be around 3/12/12. So I am hoping that everything comes out well! My daughter is going to be really upset if they do not. She is having so much fun going and checking on them every night. Well hope everyone incubating is going well! Have a great day!

I sent 22 eggs to school for a hatching project that 2 students are doing for 4H. Their teacher was nice enough to supply the incubator and I supplied the eggs. They're due to hatch in class on friday March 9th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get a good hatch rate out of this bunch! I'm ready for more baby chicks!!

I was going to candle on the 7th & 14th days because I have a chart I printed from the internet that shows how big the air cell should be at that time. Since I'm new, I figured that I should follow my chart as best I can.

I set 13 of my own eggs on Feb 8th, 6 silkies and 7 RIR. This will be my first hatch with my own eggs in my new R-com20. My hatches with shipped eggs have been so much better than when I used the LG so I can't wait to see my turn out with my own!

You can candle early if you want, it shouldn't hurt. Candling day 7 -10 shows the veins and the little black blob moving (see pictures in 1st post). Good luck everyone!
