10 Days till Mine hatch 7 days till lock down eeeee so egg-cited

Mine are going into lockdown tonight. some due the 2, others due the 7th. all are goin into lockdown today. some are goin in a bit early but i have no choice. my normal hatcher broke a few days ago so i have to use the bator as the hatcher.

wow, I'm really jealous. That's a lot of incubators. So, if all of those were completely full, how many eggs could you hatch all at once?

think they will hold around 280 chicken eggs all total. I have three 3' X 4' and one 4' X 4' brooder boxes in the barn. If had enoough eggs to load them all at the same time, any thing over a 70% hatch rate would cause me to have to build another brooder. Wouldn't that be a shame.

I had one little black Silkie hatch today. I have a Leap Year silkie now. 4 years from now he will have his first birthday.

I'm on day 18,they are darker eggs and this is my first incubation so I'm waiting it out. I sure hope they aren't duds.
I have some on day 6 that 8 of 14 silkies are developing, one has a blood ring. and out of 15 lakenvelders only 1 has development.
