Anyone have eggs going in today July 1st?

3 of my Buffs hatched while I was at work yesterday, I had 1 more buff and a mutt hatch last night, and I have several pips. I am starting to get impatient now!!!

Congrats on your hatches everyone! It is day 22 for my pheasants and 18 for the chickens. We are on lockdown and have rocking eggs but no pips yet.

I think my hygrometer is malfunctioning, I have enough water in the bator to make it float away and the dumb thing is stuck at 54%. I have to pick up my DDs from camp in a couple of hours, going to swing by the hardware store and pick up a new one. With my luck I've got too much humidity now and don't know it.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have pips and picks to share.

My eggs are hatching really slowly. My first egg hatched on Tuesday, then two on Wednesday, then one Thurdsay and another one today. Is that normal? I thought that they would hatch like popcorn, one after the other.
My pheasant eggs piped on Wednesday, but they are not due to hatch till Sunday. Maybe receiving shipped eggs in the heat had something to do with it. It has been a learning experience. Next time I know what I would do differently.
Started building a 4x8 run in the back yard. Painted it last night and hopefully will get the welded wire on this week end.
I am wondering if I will have any more chicks in the bator when I get home tonight. Still have 6 chicken eggs and the three pheasant eggs in the bator.

So far I have 4 Ducks and 1 Polish/Frizzle hatched....1 more Duck & 2 Polish/Frizzle pipped.....3 Seramas and 2 Bantam Cochins dead...

So... I ended up with 5 Buff rocks 2 isa mutts and an ee mutt. Turns out DH has been turning the AC off during the morning, causing temp spikes in the bator!

The good thing is that he promised more buffs and partridges for the next batch.

Woke up this morning to one little pheasant chick in the bator peeping and looking for a friend. The others that were pipped last night don't look like they've made any progress but some are still rocking. The chicken eggs haven't pipped yet but they are moving some too, so I'll just keep watching and waiting.

I'm surprised to see my humidity has dropped way down. I wonder if DH lifted the lid to see the chick while I was still sleeping even though he knows he's not supposed to.

Guess I'd better get a straw and get some more water in there.

Will share pics once there are more babes to show off or when I know I'm likely to only have the one.

Current count here- 7 pheasant chicks out, 3 starting to zip and more still at the pipped stage.

Chicken eggs are not progressing as well, can only see 1 pip so far, but the pheasant chicks are rolling them all around so I just might not be able to see them.
