my guess is dad was a mix as well as they have very little feathers on their legs

they are soooo cute looks like a possible blue with the others being blacks

i bet that first one also has a silkie comb as well most of my mixes have single combs being what they are mixed with and are 2nd gens, one has 5 toes and the silkie comb

, im working on adding the silkie gene to d'uccles

such a cool observation! i love it. i will post more pictures as they get older.
