What types or species are you looking for? I will have lots of feathers in the next month or so until the end of June. I usually sell them to local fly fishing store and a hair salon but I always have more then they need.​

I need any kind of feathers! well, we make stuff like jewelry, head bands, hair clips, place mats, etc! basically, all kinds of funky stuff with different feathers! we usually use the 4-8 long ones that are soft for the hair pieces but we'll take anything! how much do you sell them for?

Obviously i'm not going to charge what this site is wanting but i can sell you maybe a few mandarin feathers except the sails.

Ringneck pheasant body and tail feathers

Ok, i already have a few white shoulder feathers and some of the barred feathers from the mandarin, and some slim 5 inch pintail feathers and some soft rounded feathers.
I'll give it a few days and see what they drop and get back to you on the $, then later on in the year when my mandarins drop there sails and if your still wanting feathers i'll sell you some of them. It's ridiculous what they want for them on that website, they want a full pelt for $125!! i can get a live bird for just $25 and get continuous feathers from it!!

(i have a mandarin pelt that i'm curing right now, hmm i wonder how much....

wow, 125, that's crazy! I'll take anything really, and just a rough estimate of wht you think they'll be..usually I pay like, 10 bucks for a zip lock quart bag of peacock back/neck feathers..I've never bought any duck or chicken feathers from anyone on here so I dunno what the going price is.

I sell my pheasant tail feathers for $20 each to a local salon for hair weaves, (I couldn't believe the price she pays either, but then I found out she charges $60 for the feather plus the cost of the weave!) the stylist takes about 10 at a time and then calls me when she needs an extra one for a weave. I usually bring all of them to her husband, he shows them to her and she takes the ones she wants and returns the rest. I also get about $6 to $10 for my grey jungle fowl neck hackels from a fly fishing store, but I have a lot of those available at the end of June beginning of July so sometimes I give him a better price if he takes a lot. the other feathers I get are far less money, but I have Lady Amhurst, Swinhoe's, silver, impeyan and reeve's pheasants feathers later in the summer. If you are looking for any of these PM me with your email and we can work something out if you can wait until late in the summer for them. I don't kill the birds for the feathers unless I have another reason I need to kill it, I just collect molted feathers and like I said I always have more feathers then buyers.

I have Red Golden and Yellow Golden cocks and hens. I have been saving the feathers for fly fishing, crafts, ebay, etc.. My Yellow is starting to molt his feathers a little but later in the summer I should have alot of them. If your still interested when that time comes I will be interested in selling them to you cheap plus small postage....a few stamps..
