Anyone have feeders and waterers that last for a weekend?

I used an old toilet tank. Fill through the flush valve the float keeps the tank full. Reduce size of the outlet to accept 3/4 PVC. A leinth of PVC with T every foot or so with a nipple. I made this and have used it for 2 years never touched it again the water is always fresh and clean. I have pictures but I can't figure out how to post. Take a look at my post for watering system. I have not had to water my 32 hens in 2 years. I have not had to clean it and is as clean as day one. Simple to build cost me about $30.00 nothing electrical. ANY ONE CAN BUILD IT!!!

We have a big round feeder (id say 5 gallons) that lasts out 60 hens about two days. for waters we have 3, 5 gallon bucket with nipple waterers drilled in the bottom.

Yes, I have a feeder that holds about 400 lbs of feed. It lasts 2 weeks.

We've a 7 pound feeder and 3 gallon heated water dispenser that feeds our 7 chickens all weekend and more.

These small devices can be fitted to any container to make your own automatic verminproof feeder. We have been using these for several years and now use nothing else.

Please see my post gravity fed water system built mine for $30.00. I have 32 hens have not had to water in 2 years never needs cleaning! Take a look and let me know what you think.

Glad to see another SC chicken fan here- we are in West Columbia.
We have 13 hens and 4 Roosters (2 are only 10 wks) and are using a 5 chicken nipples on a 1" PVC manifold and attached to a 5 gallon bucket. For a feeder, I made a feeder from 4" PVC with 1 1/2" holes drilled in it at 30 degree angles from each other. This allows assures that we have food and water available always.
