Anyone have Golden Pheasant mutations- Pics

Male Golden Pheasants Start With Brown Eyes, As They Age Usually Around 2 Mos Old They Will Start To Change To The Yellow Color, Hens Will Not. This Is A Method Of Sexing Golden Chicks Given They Are Old Enough To "start The Eye Color Change"

I am not trying to contradict JJMR, but my males almost always start out with blue eyes and turn from there. They do go through a lot of different phases though, so I could have been very busy and just not paid enough attention when they were at that stage.
Yes, I have had juvenile RG males with green eyes and then they turned that beautiful sinister golden. Not all of my young RG males have had green eyes. Based on my experience, and I am no scientist, the RG with most amount of red coloring of the face, head throat, & chest areas almost always had a brief period of a greenish color to them.
When mature they were by far the most colorful & gorgeous of all the hatchlings in any given year. The lines on the cape were almost perfect (not that the others weren't). It just seems like some birds get a better gene or whatever the proper terminology is for that. Even when they have the same mom/pop. I guess this would prove Tony's point about pheasant's giving bad blood or good blood to their offspring. FYI I do not have anything other than RG and Jumbo Ring-neck at the moment.

hey JJ, I have to agree with oleduke on the eyes, although your NOT wrong.
alot of my RG start with blue eyes.

could be bloodlines.....????
